Dr Sue Tilak

Medical Director

Dr Sue received her initial medical degree in 1990 at the Nagpur University, Government Medical College, India. After completing her medical education, Dr Sue served as a general practitioner, taking care of women and children in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm, alongside her husband, Milind Tilak, MD. From there the Tilaks came to the United States and completed further training at the University of Minnesota. Dr Sue completed her Pediatric Residency in 1996 and moved to Lake City, Florida, a rural healthcare clinic. From October 1996 to May of 2002 Dr Sue took care of pediatric patients in both office and hospital settings, as well as being the attending pediatrician for Labor & Delivery, attending newborns. In 2001 the Tilaks moved to Orange Park with their two children where Dr Sue established Doctors Inlet Pediatrics in July 2002, later adding Excel Pediatrics in 2007

(Previously known as Avenues Pediatrics).

Dr Sue is currently a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr Sue considers herself to be very fortunate and privileged to have the opportunity to lead the wonderful team at these Pediatric practices. Her mission statement is to make a positive difference towards the country’s youngest population by providing high quality comprehensive medical care in a compassionate, yet scientific manner, with the assistance of available technology. Besides Medicine, her passions include reading, jogging, painting, and cooking.

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

Tricia received her nursing degree from Palm Beach Junior College and her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing from the University of Florida. Tricia is Board Certified and has been a pediatric nurse practitioner for 23 years. She has privileges at St Vincent’s and will see our newborn patients during their hospitalization. Tricia has been with the practice for 9 years and takes after hours evening and weekend call. Currently Tricia lives with her husband of 23 years and has 5 children currently attending the University of Central Florida, St Johns River State College, University of Florida and Bishop John Snyder High School.
